Aviation High School has developed and implemented processes to support teaching and learning. This enables us to set high expectations for students, promote deep learning, and encourage students to be active learners who take risks.

We’ve set a goal of providing an environment that enables self-motivation, perseverance and reflection, in addition to the mastery of difficult material. Our school leaders see the importance of supporting the technical and soft skills required for the future workforce.

The school provides direct pathways for students seeking careers in the aviation and aerospace industries. The aviation stream is supported with curriculum options from Year 7 to Year 12, a suite of extracurricular activities, excursions, resources and industry partnerships. A number of teachers at the school have industry qualifications.
