Nundah Village has been enhanced with bud lighting on a prominent Kauri Pine tree at the corner of Sandgate Road and Boyd Street. In addition, there are three bespoke illuminated lightbox towers, with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander designs that depict stories and visual representations of Nundah.

“I’m pleased to deliver this Creative Lighting improvement to the Nundah Village Shopping area. This project will add to the Nundah Village vibrancy and buzz, supporting local business with its mix of cafes, restaurants and shops,” Cr Adam Allan said.

The light towers have both a strong day-time and night-time presence and the hours of illumination are dusk to 10.30pm Sunday to Wednesday, and dusk to midnight Thursday to Saturday evenings.
