Uniting Early Learning Toombul is a small, community-centered service that has been caring for young children for over 27 years.
Since opening in 1996, Uniting Early Learning has provided excellent service to families, with a childcare and kindergarten service that is fully accredited and rated ‘Exceeding’ by ACECQA.
There are so many opportunities for children to develop at this caring centre. With a sprawling outdoor space where children can get their hands dirty, they are encouraged to play in the natural landscapes, organic garden, mud kitchen and the bush tucker area.
With a focus on play-based learning, children will grow and learn in a nurturing environment with experienced and caring educators.
The centre supports a maximum of 56 children, which means that each child receives individual attention and care. The children enjoy making friends, spending their days exploring the centre, learning to share and take turns, and developing the skills needed to excel at school and beyond.
The on-site chef is busy cooking tasty meals 5 days a week, including vegetarian options. The children have the opportunity to try new foods and learn about the foods they are enjoying.
There are always new opportunities available at Uniting Early Learning, including Grandfriends, an Intergenerational Play Program and extracurricular activities, including Grasshopper Soccer and Dance Quest. Children also enjoy taking part in gardening and composting, following a sustainability-embedded program at the centre.
The importance of a reliable and nurturing team of educators is important for children, and Uniting Early Learning has a team of experienced educators determined to provide the best care.
Lorna, the Kindy Teacher, has over 16 years of teaching experience and develops her programs around each student’s interests and needs.
Debbie, whose son is currently enrolled at Uniting Early Learning, happily recommends the service.
“Uniting Early Learning is a lovely centre with supportive and caring staff,’ says Debbie.
‘The on-site chef, Riki, is also a bonus as my son has special dietary requirements and Riki creates delicious and nutritious meals that my son loves. We are really happy here and I couldn’t recommend this centre more.’
Uniting Early Learning is committed to providing an early childhood service that has a positive impact on children, setting the stage for a lifetime of learning and development.
