Kedon parkrun, which started in April 2016, is run by local volunteers every Saturday morning where locals and visitors can run, jog, skip, take their dog, push their pram or just walk.

Event Director, Sam Gowty, and Run Directors, Francis, Lenore, Joel and Jess encourage those who haven’t tried parkrun to try it this spring.

“We keep it simple, fun and welcoming each Saturday,” says Sam.

“We feel this approach provides a solid platform for people to interact with each other and achieve their personal goals in order to lead a healthier lifestyle.”

Kedron parkun is held every Saturday at 7am at 128 Shaw Road in Kedron. If it’s your first time, head to www.parkrun.com.au to register and print out your barcode, which will time your run and email your results directly to you.

Become part of the Kedron parkrun crew and grab a post parkrun coffee at Grid Espresso – everyone is invited.
