Edi, a young Nundah local, has spent the past two years building her small business. She started out offering dog walking, pet sitting and home visit services, and now her handmade dog treats can be found in local shops all around the neighbourhood.
For Edi, who has autism, the business has been both a way to work with the dogs she loves, and to build confidence, independence and connections in the community.
She's not chasing rapid growth or big business goals. Rather, she's following her love of dogs—and the neighbourhood's furry friends are doing well out of it (this writer's pet can attest).
