St Agatha’s Primary School is a vibrant Prep to Year 6 co-educational Catholic school located in the leafy suburb of Clayfield. Clayfield is located 6km north-east of the city and a short distance to the domestic and international airports. St Agatha’s catchment includes the surrounding suburbs of Hamilton, Ascot and Albion.

St Agatha’s has a rich history with many staff, parents and even some grandparents being among the alumni. The welcoming atmosphere, active and social parent body, excellent learning and teaching and connection with the parish local community including Brothers Rugby Club make for a school that lives their motto ‘Growth, Friendship, Faith’.

Students at St Agatha’s are keen learners and come from families who value education. Students experience the Australian curriculum whilst developing the St Agatha’s learner dispositions: Self-Directed, Engaged, Resilient, Persistent and Reflective. Goal setting, feedback, student voice and high expectations with a growth mindset are evident throughout the school. A committed and caring staff including an expert teaching team support and challenge students to develop a love of learning and promote excellence in each person.

Extra-curricular offerings at St Agatha’s include: Tennis, Chess, Speech and Drama, Instrumental Music, Visual Arts, French, Entrepreneurship and short courses in Rugby, AFL and Soccer.

St Agatha’s proudly launched the Catholic Primary Schools Interschool Pitch Competition in 2021. This competition sees students pitching an idea for social impact and highlights entrepreneurial mindset, ideation, creativity and problem solving.
