There’s a new spot on Brisbane’s northside that’s getting people talking. The Landers Pocket entertainment precinct has opened its doors, and whether you’re a keen golfer, a food lover, or just looking for somewhere to catch up with mates, there’s something here for you.
Landers Pocket extends on from Golf Central between Eagle Farm and the Brisbane Airport, and the new 800-capacity venue is now home to 4 Pines Brewery, Never Never Distillery, a mini golf course, and gastropub serving classic Queensland fare.
Locally Owned and Operated
The precinct is a home-grown project, which shows in everything from the Queensland-style design to the commitment to supporting local suppliers and incorporating local ingredients.
Managing Director James Cooper says the idea behind Landers Pocket was simple: create a place that feels distinctly Brisbane and welcomes everyone through the door.
‘We wanted to create something open, relaxed, high quality, and community-driven,’ James says. ‘You can come here for golf, a long lunch, a family afternoon, a corporate event, or a night out, all within the one precinct.’

Crafting With QLD Ingredients
4 Pines Brewing and Never Never Distillery will both incorporate local ingredients in their beer brewing and gin distilling processes.
Sean Baxter, co-founder of Never Never Brewing, says ‘There are many common ingredients grown locally that are superior because of the climate they’re grown in, such as mangoes, macadamias, pineapples, coconuts, and ginger, all of which have large historical production hubs in the Queensland region.’
8 Minutes From Nundah Village
Sitting between the CBD and Nundah, Landers Pocket is fast becoming a go-to for both neighbourhood catch-ups and special occasions.
Since opening in mid-November, the response has been overwhelmingly positive. James says seeing customers come back multiple times has been particularly rewarding.
‘Visitors consistently comment on the scale, the atmosphere, and how easy it is to enjoy the venue regardless of whether they golf or not,’ he says. ‘We’ve seen strong repeat visitation early, which is a great indicator that people understand the concept and want to come back with different groups for different occasions.’
What’s Next
With over 16 hectares of space, there’s plenty of room to grow. Future plans include a 3,000-capacity amphitheatre for live music and major events, a 1,000-capacity lawn for festivals and market pop-ups, a kick-and-catch oval, and padel courts.
‘The goal is to continue evolving the destination so that repeat visits always feel fresh and rewarding,’ James says. ‘Landers Pocket is designed to grow with Brisbane. It’s not just a venue—it’s a precinct built around connection, lifestyle, and shared experiences.
‘We’re proud to have created something that locals can claim as their own, and that visitors will remember as a standout Brisbane destination.’
Whether you’re after a round of mini golf with the kids, a tasting paddle with friends, a long lunch in the Queensland sunshine, or just somewhere relaxed to spend an afternoon, Landers Pocket has opened up a new kind of space on the northside—one where everyone’s genuinely welcome. Let’s Play!
