Since opening Dandelion & Driftwood in Hendra in 2010, owners Penny and Peter Wolff have never strayed far from this gorgeous suburb.
After outgrowing their original location on Gerler Road, Dandelion & Driftwood opened at the International Airport to provide delicious coffee when leaving Brisbane. With travel restrictions and lockdowns dominating the last two years, Penny and Peter made the decision to return to Hendra and open in a larger premises on the corner of Doncaster Street and Gerler Road.
Dandelion & Driftwood Cafe & Bar has once again become an integral part of Hendra, attracting customers from across Brisbane for their, chef prepared meals, carefully curated wine list and specialty coffee and tea. They offer full table service for those looking to enjoy breakfast, lunch or an exquisite high tea, and speedy service for outside dining through the use of a QR code.
Also located in Hendra is Penny and Peter’s flagship coffee roasting business, Wolff Coffee Roasters. Peter Wolff, who is known as the ‘Godfather of Coffee’, has been at the forefront of the specialty coffee industry in Australia for more than thirty years.
The Wolffpack continues to shine the spotlight on the coffee industry, with Wolff Coffee Roasters hosting the National Aeropress Championships in October, which brought together the Australian coffee community right here in Hendra.
While Wolff Coffee operates nationally, at their core they are a local roaster with a big heart, dedicated to supporting the local community.
